Tuesday, August 05, 2008 -  Thank you for your time and effort, trying to push Somalia up the
ladder and helping that disappearing country to stand on it’s own again.

Unfortunately many Somalis, Including some senior Politicians, are  still incapable to understand that, and become a hindering obstructive. Whatsoever, we will eternally remember that and remain so grateful.

As it only depends on a written law or agreement, Right or Wrong is totally different than Good or Bad, which is always a relative decision, that mostly depend on interest based personal point of view.

Since the day it was established in August of 2004, the transitional Parliament Of Somalia was the major obstacle that prevented Somalia to move forward. Instead of becoming a good example to the public, increasing their capabilities, striving hard to reach out the entire community and convince them to contribute in rebuilding their evaporating country, they are constantly and continuously busy for themselves, solving their everlasting internal problems. Fighting in march of 2005, while still on exile in Nairobi, Kenya, beating with their traditional canes and donated portable seats, almost a year after, it was on February 2006, when they first came back together and have their first meeting in Baidoa of Somalia, and shortly again, many left away including the house speaker.

Always dividing into two or more groups, dismissing an existing government and competing to become a minister in the coming cabinet, it is the United Nations and other donor countries that pay them for just playing around.

Now, we are in the middle of a new reconciliation process, that can really change the current shape of Somalia to a much better one. Immediately they created an unnecessary conflict, based on minor financial accountability, that can be postponed to any other time. (The budget of a non-existing nation! That really sounds nonsense.)

Knowing that you are aware of all these, I am just reminding you what kind of people you are feeding in that small town of Baidoa

Staying there for living, they never thought beyond themselves, and without your help they will never get paid, and will become unemployed.

 Please, use all your financial and political power to stop the rubbishy government accountability debate inside the parliament, that can simply cause the second government dismissal in less than nine months, which really seems the turning point of Somalia towards its end.

To stop this recurring tug-of war, and avoid another confusing conflict in the short future, the parliament members better revise the existing charter, and draw a solid power separation, boundary line between the merged responsibilities of the president and the prime minister, that will be used to judge who is Right or Wrong, regardless of what others think.

Thank you for reading this letter.

Yours Sincerely;

Peace And Justice Activist
