Friday, August 08, 2008 -    Since the Tigreian Militia invaded late December 2006 Somalia with the assistance of Americans, are now in their stage of their game of walking out of Somalia . The Tigreian militia thought that invading Somalia was cake walk because they forgot the history between Somalia and Ethiopia . They also forgot that Somalis defeated them three times since1960 and the last war the Somali military was stopped by western countries.  In addition, that they forget also that Somalis gave a lesson to their master (Americans). The American handed the lion ears to the Tigreans and walked away and the Tigreian are also now looking someone to the hand over the lion ears. The only option feasible for the Tegrian is to repeat the American failed policy of giving power back to the warlord.  

During the warlord era, the Tigrean played a major role in keeping the warlords remain in power by providing money and weapon. Then the American came into the picture and commenced providing money to the warlord and the warlord was hand in any person request by the Americans. The American become happy how things were proceeding until a new player the Union of Islamic Courts came into the picture which they do not control. Therefore, their strategic became up side down. Immediately the American came up with new strategy which to finance and provide intelligence and military assistance to the Tigreian militia to invade Somalia and support existing the puppet Somali Transitional Government.   

The Tigreans were already in control part of Somalia namely the Somali land (Isac land) and Puntland (Darood land) . The decision makers of both places were under the rule of the Tigreians and they wanted to do the same in Mogadishu land (Hawiye land) and Jubaland (Rahaweyn land). What the Tigrean forgot was that both the Hawiye and Rahawayne land are not the same as the other lands because both the Hawiye and Rahawayn possesses most the resources of the country in terms of financial, human capital, agricultural, and are more religious oriented.

Since the Tigreian failed their mission in Somalia , they are adopting the Americans failed policy which is to bring back and support the Somali warlords. The warlords are now jailed in Baidoa and they can not go out without the permission of the Tigreians. The Tigrean gave money warlord Mohamed Dhere and Muse Sudi and they are supporting the warlard such as Abdullahi Yusuf and Abdi Qaydid in Mogadishu and they want to bring back Qanyare, Omar Finish and Xaaf, Osman Atto and so on.

 Many Somali are asking themselves why the Tigreina mob is reviving the warlord at this final stage of their presence in Somalia . Several good reasons are: Firstly, continue to dominate and control from distance the Somali affairs through warlords as it did in the last two decades. Secondly, that they are now new players in game namely the Alliance for the Re-liberation of Somalia and a new Prime Minister which is not in their control into the picture which did not exist during warlords reign and their influence is very limited. Thirdly, they know that if they fail in Mogadishu , other parts of Somalia will rise against the Tigriena militia. Fourth, the Tigreian militia who leave Somalia will not sit quiet in their base camp in Ethiopia but will demand a leadership change.

Finally, in order to preempt the revival of the warlords, we command that the Somali people must support the current negotiation between the Alliance for the Re-liberation of Somali headed by Sheikh Sharif Sheikh Ahmed and the Transitional government headed by Nur Adde. Both men understood that the only way out of the current Somali crisis is through dialogue and compromise. Both men have showed leadership qualities and they also understand clearly that the battle ground of the fighting is in the middle of their people and it is mainly their people who are suffering. We also command these two gentle men must to welcome anyone who support their goal which is to bring peace, tranquility to the people of Mogadishu and must aware of those who are setting up the traps and trick against them. They also must distance themselves from anyone who is against this goal and who is dividing Somali along tribal line. Finally both men must seek Allah’s (swt) support and guidance and rule Somalia according to the Islamic Law which is based on equality, respect human life, the rule of law and respect human right, free speech, compromise and forgiveness.
