Abdullahi Yusuf said to Nur Adde after their fighting reached to
the point of no reconciliation that either one of us should go.
Abdullahi used the Somali proverb. “ Ma waxaan ku moodaayey,
mise waxaad noqotay, mise waxaan loo noqondoonin.
Abdullahi Yusuf said to Nur Adde I thought that you were
like Ali Geedi who was hungry for money and takes what ever he
is given without question and never bothered me. You became like
a quite hyena who eats without making a noise and his leftovers
never seen again and what I will not do again is to trust you
because you showed the Somali people and the world that I am a
warmonger. You destroyed my name and dignity and all what I have
built for the last forty years.
Therefore, it shows that Nur
Adde is a new breed to the Somali political system because he is
not interested in fame, money and power but interested merely in
solving Somali political crisis. Up to now he played a
constructive rule in setting up a political agenda based on peace
and dialogue. His leadership quality is now matched only by one
person and that is Sheikh Sharif Sheikh Ahmed who also selected
the agenda of peace and dialogue. Mr. Adde’s calmness, listening
qualities and patience have attracted a lot of Somali people for
his genuine desire to solve the Somali crisis through peaceful
means. In addition, his quietness, looking at the big picture and
not focusing minor issues have attracted both the International
observers and of the Somali expatriates. International community
as well as major funders also saw him as a man whom they deal with
and also can build a civil society which based on the rule of law,
human dignity and free speech.
Because of not interested in
accumulating wealth and fame like his predecessor, Prime Minister
Nur Adde has introduced a new vocabulary into the Somali political
system which is the word peace. The word peace has been absent
from the current Somali political discussion as well as and the
era of the warlords that has kept the Somali people hostage for
the last two decades. When Mr. Adde was nominated as a Prime
Minister Adde nine months ago and he completely changed the topic
of discussion of fighting, destruction and killing into peace and
dialogue. He clearly stated that he was ready to meet anywhere any
opponent of his government regardless of their political, tribal,
religious affiliation. He also clearly stated that also he is
ready to leave his new Prime Minister position if it brings a
solution to the current Somali crisis. This bold move showed to
the world that he cares about the Somali people and what he says
is what he means and he is a man whom can be trusted.
The first task he took was to
make his office near the mayor of Mogadishu Mr. Gabre (the
Tigerian ruler in
Mogadishu
) and so called the president Abdullahi Yusuf. Firstly, this has
allowed him to know what is going behind the doors of Villa
Somalia
. Secondly, he communicated clearly that he means business and
every thing is not as usual as it used to be when Ali Geedi was
charge because Ali Geedi was absent from the behind door
discussion. Thirdly, he wanted to know those who pretend to be
allied with him and at the same time who are informants to both
Tigrain mayor and Abdullahi Yusuf.
Furthermore, his peace and
dialogue announcement caused that both Transitional Government and
Alliance of Re-liberation of Somali to split in pieces. He broke
down the Alliances of Liberation of Somalia into two groups. A
group headed by sheikh Sharif sheikh who is pro- peace whose and
main base is in
Djibouti
,
Djibouti
and another group who is against peace headed by Sheikh Hassan
Dahir whose base in
Asmara
,
Eritrea
. Likewise, he divided the so called Transitional Somali
Parliament into two. A group of Parliamentarians composed of
thugs, beggars and criminals headed by the old psychopathic old
man Abdullahi Yusuf who is against peace and another group of
Parliamentarian headed by Nur Adde who is pro peace.
Somalia
political system is now divided into these two groups and we hope
the pro-peace group will win because the Somali people need peace
more than ever.
He also showed to the world that
the Somali problem is not merely limited to Somalis but also are
involved with the occupier of the Tigrain Mob and their masters
the Americans. He also showed that The Tigreian Mob in
Addis Ababa
with their parliamentarian customers and their psychopathic leader
old leader Abdullahi Yusuf do not care about the plight of the
ordinary Somali people. Now the political game is involved with
the pro-peace who determined to oust the Tigreans with
parliamentarian stooges whose base in Baidoa.
Finally, the Somali people have
a clear choice and must not loose this opportunity of supporting
the pro-peace and dialogue faction. The Somali people have been in
crisis for a long time and now it is time to involve and support
this pro peace group.
Mogadishu
people must understand that their interests rest with the
pro-peace and dialogue group because it is them who are displaced,
robbed, raped and killed and people who live outside
Mogadishu
are enjoying peace and tranquility. Enough is enough
Mogadishu
people must wake up and do the right thing because the fighting,
death and destruction is limited to their people and land.
