Macalester professor back from sabbatical after failed bid for Somalia presidency

MPRNEWS | Friday, December 07, 2012 | He took the summer off from his job as a professor at Macalester College in St. Paul to run for president of his home country.

Ahmed Samatar is back from Somalia and thinking about the country’s future.

Samatar joins The Daily Circuit Friday, Dec. 7 to talk about his presidential bid and the current state of affairs in Somalia.
