Muqdisho | QOL | January 02, 2019 – The central Government’s decision to EXPEL the UN official envoy Mr. NICHOLAS HAYSOM, its right Decision and Right time and this will be a lesson to the others.

Mr. Nicholas Haysom was breached his Rightful mandate to represent the UN Secretary General for Somalia and, he was interfering the Internal issues and the Sovereignty of Somalia.

Mr. Nicholas’s letter expressing about the internal affairs was an acceptable and that shows he has no idea about his responsibility to be in Somalia and he deserved to be ordered to leave the country in a few hours or days.

And this is my advice to the Government.

  1. Send a strong message stating the behavior of the Envoy to the UN Secretary General.
  2. The Envoy knew very well the security situation in Somalia and he is not supposed to raise the tension of the people.
  3. The Government has to defend firmly its decision and will never accept any accusation or excuse from the UN.
  4. Never allow Mr. Nicholas to come back to Somalia; he must be replaced to another Envoy.
  5. And this will be a lesson to the other Envoys from the Non-Governmental organizations.
  6. And, this will be a lesson to the other Governments who are trying to intervene the internal affairs and the Sovereignty of Somalia.
  7. The central Government has kept in mind all the times to be very careful any actions need to be taken either its internal or external.
  8. And our politicians have to be very careful to collaborate with our Enemies for the sake of self interest.
  9. And any foreign Diplomat or any Envoy from other Organizations has no right to intervene our own internal affairs.
  10. And the Sovereignty of our country MUST be respected, like the way was respected the others.

My conclusion, hopefully the Central Government will defend its decision and their action against Mr. Nicholas Haysom, this will be a lesson for any other Organizations or Governments who interfere the internal affairs of Somalia.

And I am urgently appealing to the Central Government, Federal sates and the political oppositions to solve their political differences around the table for the sake of our people, and our politicians must know that anyone of them who misused deliberately his power for any crime against our people will be responsible his or her action, and any one of you who deceive or collaborate with the enemy of our Nation for the sake of self interest or personal interest will be responsible his or her crime sooner or later.
